TIB Credit Card Fraud Detection System
Credit card fraud strikes millions of cardholders annually and continues to be one of the fastest growing white-collar crimes in the U.S. Our partner TIB is committed to protecting customers by using the latest technology and tools to detect and prevent fraud.
Overview
Using neural network technology, the Falcon Fraud system actually learns cardholders’ purchase patterns. It compares real-time authorization data with individual cardholder behavior and current fraud trends.
Real-Time Fraud Scoring
When a cardholder uses their credit card, the Falcon strategy quickly analyzes the transaction, delivers an authorization decision and determines if the account should be queued to the Fraud Detection Work Center.
Customized Fraud Strategies
The powerful real-time capabilities of the Falcon system, combined with dedicated service and analyst teams, helps identify potentially fraudulent transactions at the point of sale. Fraudulent activity is recognized faster and a higher level of service is provided.
What to Do?
Keep phone numbers current with TIB, should they need to contact you to verify account activity. A cell as a primary phone number, and a home or business phone as secondary, will help ensure you can always be reached when analysts need to call.
Call 800-367-7576 anytime you may be traveling or before attempting transactions that may appear unusual based on your regular purchase patterns. TIB can make adjustments to fraud strategies to allow approval of purchases that might otherwise be considered suspicious activity.
